Villa Traveller

Hello – I don’t know about you, but I’ve got a bit set in my ways. Ever since we were married and went on honeymoon, for the most part our holidays have been spent in self-catering accommodation. There’s nothing wrong with hotels, bed & breakfasts, guest houses, etc. It’s just that we operate a coffee and gift shop which is open 7 days a week, where we are constantly meeting people and living a life of routine, and I rebel against it all on holiday.

I love the freedom of not getting up in the morning, of not having to appear at breakfast looking all spruced up, where Sandy and I can choose our own entertainment – going for walks, swimming or exploring the countryside. This has taken us to some amazing places – and I look forward to sharing some of them with you.
